Old Believers, who settled in Gabowe Grądy in approximately 1867 belong to the Bespopovtsy (Priestless)- mainstream Orthodox Church, which, in the mid-17th century did not recognize the reforms put in place by Patriarch Nikon. The Old Believers' church is not a place where the Eucharist is held, it only holds services conducted by a controller, elected among members of the community.
The church in Gabowe Grądy was founded in 1948. It was built of wood on a rectangular plan. The building is boarded on the outside and has an addition of a bell tower. Inside, icons are placed on shelves. In 1989, the church was entered into the register of historic monuments.
