Statue of a girl located at Rospuda Lake, dedicated to the heroine of local folk tales. According to one of the legend, during the Kupala Night, the girl floated a wreath of flowers to foretell if she would find love, and drowned attempting to push the wreath further. Another legend tells of the daughter of a local forester who fell in love with an officer of the Russian Imperial army. Branded a spy, the girl was sentenced to death.
Uncovered in June 2015, the statue was made from a 3.5-tonne sandstone slab transported to Augustów from Świętokrzyskie Mountains. It depicts a life-sized sitting naked woman. The statue was sculpted by a local artist Waldemar Dziekoński.
